A Photography Exhibit by Randall Elley

Randall Elley is a fifth generation Texan with a proud family history dating back to 1836 and the Republic of Texas. He joins his interest in Texas History with his talents as a Fine Art Photographer to bring you this exhibit.

When Randall started this project in the fall of 2009, his goal and subsequent challenge was to photograph one of the most well known buildings in Texas and show it from a new and unique perspective.  His love of detail is exemplified in his photographs, where he focuses on the symmetries in nature and architecture, often revealing the overlooked beauty of his photographic subjects. The Renaissance Revival style of the Texas Capitol and the Majestic Monuments that cover the Capitol Grounds were a great choice for Randall’s artistic vision.
